D-Hall 2.0: Taste & Tour

For 52 years, D-Hall provided meals for JMU students, faculty/staff, families and visitors. As students return to classes this fall, the JMU community will be welcomed into the newest dining facility on campus. On Wednesday, August 8, you will have an opportunity to be a part of history, being some of the first patrons of the newly constructed D-Hall. This event also includes a building tour. Join local alums & friends for "all you care to eat" and enjoy the incredible views of this new facility!

The event begins at 6:00 p.m., and registration is strongly encouraged. Preregistered guests will be entered into a raffle to win a JMU alumni prize pack. Guided tours will occur at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The cost of dinner is $12.75 plus tax, and all guests will pay at the door. There is no charge for children ages 5 & under.

A menu is being finalized, but some highlights you will be able to enjoy include: create your own stir fry & house-made dumpling bar, create your own personal pizza, soup & salad bar, MTO deli items, classic grill items including hand-cut fries, "Transformation Kitchen" offering alternating menus such as Latin-inspired dishes & southern classics, and "True Balance" which an allergen solutions program offering safe food prepared separately, made without the top 7 food allergens. We hope your mouth is watering!

The nearest parking is at G-Lot (JMU Bookstore) or the Grace Street Parking Deck. We ask that you use the clock tower entrance at D-Hall. Preregistration by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6 is appreciated!
