JMU Alumni Association: Student Committee 

Mission

The JMUAA Student Committee works to represent JMU's current student population within the JMU Alumni Association and build a foundation for lifelong commitment to and engagement with JMU. 

Vision

To be advocates for all JMU students and empower them to transition into active alumni committed to "opening doors" for fellow Dukes.

Why you should apply

• Help with the planning and implementation of JMU's weeklong Homecoming celebration
• Represent the student voice in strategic planning and fundraising campaigns for the university
  
• Help produce social events that foster school pride and preserve JMU's Madison Traditions
• Students who serve on committees have exclusive, direct access to influential alumni across all industries who are always looking to hire and mentor
• Opportunity to get involved with alumni events with potential opportunities to travel (post-pandemic)
• Serve as student body representatives for JMU alumni base of over 145,000 living alumni

		Spirit Committee WHO SHOULD APPLY Students interested in event planning and industry experience Students who want to serve as a campus ambassador Students interested in enhancing the Madison Experience for fellow Dukes around events like Homecoming, Reunions, and I <3 JMU Week
