During Homecoming Weekend, Friday at 6pm through Sunday at 6pm are Free JMU Alumni hours (Alumni do not need a day pass and can bring their immediate family members to use UREC free of charge during that weekend).

If you are interested in participating at UREC or University Park during other times in the year, UREC offers Alumni Day Passes. For Alumni interested in participating on a regular basis, UREC offers Alumni Memberships for established JMU alumni.

All operating hours during Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break are Alumni and Family Hours.

Alumni single day passes are only available for purchase using this online form using a credit card through the JMU Alumni Association website.

Purchase a single day pass online using the form below prior to traveling to UREC. Be prepared to show your electronic or printed receipt to the UREC Welcome Center upon arrival. Day passes must be used within one month from purchase, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a day pass has been redeemed, a new day pass must be purchased for access on another day. Alumni day passes do not include program requiring registration or athletic training services.

With their purchase, an alumnus is also eligible to host and purchase day passes for their immediate family members (ages 2+) and up to two guests. Immediate family includes: spouse, dependents (children, foster children, step children), siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren. If your total group number exceeds 6, contact the Assistant Director for Member Services at least 3 business days prior to your visit.

The alumni is the host for the group and must arrive and remain with all members of the group at all times within the facilities. All members of the group must be present for entry; any unused passes for group members not in attendance will expire that same day.
Remember, children under the age of 16 are only permitted in the facility during Family Hours. If you are bringing children to family hours, review and follow age-related policies in the Fitness/Cardio Deck, Adventure Center, and Aquatics Center.
