Dukes being recognized:

Inez Graybeal Roop (’35) Alumni Service Award: Wilma Cairns Bowers ’83
Recognizes an alumnus/a for rendering outstanding voluntary service to the James Madison University and/or the JMU Alumni Association.

Presidential Award: Frances Weir* ’49
Selected by the university president, this award honors a JMU alumnus/a who leads the way in being an engaged alum of the university.

Ronald E. Carrier Alumni Achievement Award: Nora Newton Crouch ’82
Recognizes an alumnus/a who has demonstrated significant achievements of enduring value to society and is the highest recognition bestowed by the JMU Alumni Association.

Social Justice Award: Chrishana M. Lloyd ’92
Celebrates an alumnus/a who embodies JMU’s motto of “Being the Change” by demonstrating a commitment to social justice and works to increase fairness and equity for those systematically disenfranchised and least served politically, economically, or socially in our community.

Student Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) Award: Hugh Vecchietti McFarlane ’24
Presented to a current student, this award recognizes a Duke who provides leadership and serves as a role model for their peers. Dukes from Day One, Alumni for Life. 

Young Alumni Award: Daniel Blevins ’17
The Young Alumni Award recognizes a graduate of the last decade with outstanding service to the University through engagement and philanthropy.

ATTIRE
Dress is semi-formal wear
Men should wear dress pants with matching suit jacket or blazer
Women should wear knee or tea length dresses, jumpsuits, or pantsuits

PARKING
Guests can park in Grace Street Parking deck between the hours of 5:30-9pm on April 12. No permit will be necessary. 
Guest with accessibility needs can park in A Lot, located behind Wilson Hall.

SHUTTLE
For guests staying at Hotel Madison, there will be a shuttle circling to get you to and from the Hall of Presidents. The shuttle will start running at 5 and will continue running through the end of the event to return everyone back to the hotel. 

FIRST COURSE
Spring greens & fresh berry salad | shaved red onion, candied pecans, feta, strawberry balsamic vinaigrette & tarragon buttermilk dressing

SECOND COURSE

Choice of:
Smoked petite beef filetblackberry demi, garlic herb potato, seared green beans, honey roasted heirloom carrots
Blackened yellowfin tuna steak salsa, garlic herb potato, seared green beans, honey roasted heirloom carrots
Lemon pesto primavera cheese tortellini, spring vegetables, fresh herbs, pecorino

THIRD COURSE
Chocolate Midnight | black cocoa sponge, semi-sweet mousse, cacao nib shortbread 

Tickets to attend are $45 per person.

If you are a Graduate of the Last Decade (2014- 2024) or a current student, tickets are available at a special rate of $35 per person.
