MetroDukes: MADtalks March 2016

The MetroDukes are excited to announce a new type of event series - MADtalks. A couple times a year, the MetroDukes plan to have a speaker share insights on a specific topic or a panel discuss timely events/topics.

This first ever MADtalks event will feature a panel of JMU alumni and professors discussing the upcoming presidential election. There will be a moderator, who will take several questions from the audience. If you're a political junkie, or are interested in learning more ahead of the November 8 election, this event is for you. In order to attend, you must sign up for this event, which will be capped at 30 guests.

Panelists for this Madtalks are:
• David A. Jones, Ph.D, Professor of Political Science and Coordinator of JMU Washington Semester, James Madison University
• Matthew Oczkowski ('10), Head of Product, Cambridge Analytica
• Dave Rexrode ('01), Political Director, Republican Governors Association
• Dr. Valerie A. Sulfaro, Professor of Political Science and Political Communication Coordinator, James Madison University
• Kimberly Scott ('84), Political Consultant and Publisher, DemList
• Pamela Stevens ('83), Director of Media Affairs and Strategic Initiatives, House Republican Conference

If you sign up, but something comes up in the meantime, we ask that you please email Alan Maynard so we can give your spot to another interested Duke.

This event is free to attend.

The JMU Washington Center is a 10-minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metro. There is also metered street parking available nearby as well as garage parking for $14 in the evenings (entrance is at 1616 P Street.)
