2017 JMU on the Hill Reception

You are cordially invited to the 15th JMU on the Hill Reception, scheduled for May 16 in the Rayburn Building, Room 2075. What started in 2002 as an informal gathering of alumni working on Capitol Hill and public policy-minded JMU faculty has transformed into an energetic gathering of educated and enlightened citizens. We hope you will join us for light refreshments, conversation with friends and colleagues, and the opportunity to learn about the latest projects and accomplishments at JMU.

A short program will include President Alger’s annual State of the University remarks, to be followed by an academic update focused on JMU health programs from Dr. Sharon Lovell, Dean of the College of Health and Behavioral Studies, and Dr. Rhonda Zingraff, Associate Dean. Additionally, students who will have completed an alumni career workshop earlier in the day will be present to network and learn about the many rewarding career opportunities in the National Capital Region. Please seek them out and welcome them to the growing network of D.C. -area Dukes.

We expect to reach capacity in advance of the registration deadline (May 9) and encourage you to make your plans early.
